Ingredients
- ⅓ cup vegetable oil
- 3 slices bacon, cut into thirds
- 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper, or to taste
- 1 head cabbage, cored and sliced
- 1 white onion, chopped
- 1 pinch white sugar
Instructions
- 1Gather all ingredients.
- 2Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat; add sliced bacon and season with salt and pepper. Cook until bacon is crisp, 5 to 7 minutes.
