Ingredients
- 3 cups shredded or chopped cooked chicken
- 2 cans (10.5 oz each) condensed cream of chicken soup
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (8 oz)
- 3 cups (from 2 boxes) Progresso™ Plain Panko Crispy Bread Crumbs
- 6 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- 1Heat oven to 350°F.
- 2Evenly place chicken in bottom of ungreased 13x9-inch (3-quart) baking dish.
- 3Spoon dollops of the condensed soup over the chicken, then using a spatula or the back of a large spoon, spread the soup evenly over the chicken.
- 4Sprinkle cheese evenly over the soup.
- 5Place bread crumbs in a medium bowl. In small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Pour melted butter over bread crumbs; stir until crumbs are evenly coated with butter.
- 6Sprinkle bread crumb mixture over cheese.
- 7Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the cheese is melted, the bread crumbs are golden brown and the casserole is heated through. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
