Ingredients
- 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
- 1/2 cup Progresso™ Italian Style Bread Crumbs
- 1/4 cup 2% milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 small onion, finely chopped (1/4 cup)
- 1 large egg
Serve with, if desired
- Hot cooked pasta, any shape
- Pasta sauce, any variety, heated
Instructions
- 1Heat oven to 400°F. Line 13x9-inch pan with foil; spray with cooking spray.
- 2In large bowl, mix all ingredients just until combined.
- 3Shape mixture into 24 (1 1/2-inch) meatballs by rolling into balls between the palms of your hands, using a meat baller, or a cookie scoop.
- 4Place meatballs 1 inch apart on a baking sheet with sides.
- 5Bake uncovered 18 to 22 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F and meatballs are no longer pink in the center.
- 6Serve over pasta and top with your favorite sauce.
