This zesty basil vinaigrette recipe takes about five minutes to make. Fragrant basil gets a pungent, spicy boost from fresh garlic and a pinch of crushed red pepper.
Ingredients
- 1 small garlic clove
- 1 cup packed basil leaves (coarsely chopped)
- 0.25 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1.5 tablespoons Champagne vinegar
- Pinch of crushed red pepper
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
